With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce the passing of Willie Lamar Burnett, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and son, who passed away on August 25, 2026.
Willie Lamar Burnett was a man whose life held many chapters, experiences, and memories. Though life brought its share of hardships and challenges, his story is one that will forever remain a part of the family he leaves behind.
Willie was the proud father of three daughters, Faasofia Burnett, Velonika Burnett, and Talia Burnett.
His legacy continues through his six grandchildren, La’Tron Hall, Kieona Smith, Manamea Haynes, Leilani Fleming, Taimani Haynes, and Malo Haynes, who will carry his name, memories, and family history forward.
Willie was preceded in death by his beloved mom Alberta Burnett.
He leaves to cherish his memory his three daughters, six grandchildren, his siblings Charles Burnett and Rena Lewis, along with extended family, relatives, and loved ones whose lives were touched by his presence.
As we say our final goodbyes, we choose to remember Willie not only for the years that have passed, but for the memories, the music, the laughter, the lessons, and the moments that will live on in our hearts. His life was a journey uniquely his own, and his memory will forever remain a part of the family he leaves behind.
Though our time together may not have been what we once hoped for, we are grateful for the opportunity to reconnect and for the memories that will remain with us. We take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and that his story will continue through his children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
Rest peacefully, Willie Lamar Burnett. You will forever be remembered, forever loved, and never forgotten.
