William F. Winefeldt

William F. Winefeldt, age 84 of Shoreview, MN. Passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at the Minnesota Veteran's Home in Minneapolis.

He was born to William and Bertha Winefeldt of Hankinson, North Dakota. He was the youngest of three children.

After High School Graduation, he joined and served in the US Navy. Shortly after that, he met and married Joyce Navratil. They moved to South Minneapolis, where he had a long career with the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier. He retired when he was 55 years old. After retirement, they moved up north to their lake home, where they lived for 20+ years. They moved back to the cities in 2016 and settled once again, this time in Shoreview.

Bill leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce. His children Teresa Perry, Brad (Shelley) Winefeldt and Kim (Steve) Granquist. He has 7 grandchildren, Garrett (Crystal) Perry, Nick (Britt) Perry, Emily (Nick) Scholl, Mitch (Liz) Winefeldt, Steven (Danielle) Granquist, Mandy (Tim) Gravley and Ryan Granquist. And also 3 great-grandchildren Rose, Ava & Wesley.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 3rd, at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Shoreview, MN. Visitation will begin at 10am. The Service will begin at 11am.

A light lunch will be served immediately following the service.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
