In Loving Memory of Dr. William (Bill) Prosen

William (Bill) Louis Prosen, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN, at the age of 81. He was surrounded by his children and loved ones. Born on May 30, 1943, in Gilbert, MN, son of Louis and Ann (Pedric) Prosen, Bill was known for his fun-loving nature, quirky sense of humor, and unwavering faith in God.

Bill, sometimes known as “Doc,” dedicated his life to helping others as a compassionate chiropractor. His work touched the lives of many, and his caring nature extended far beyond his profession. A true sports enthusiast, Bill found joy in watching his favorite Minnesota teams and spending time with loved ones. He cherished moments spent with family and friends, whether enjoying meals together, savoring chocolate, or sharing laughter and conversation. Bill also had a fondness for collecting trinkets and other items that held special meaning to him.

He is survived by his four children: Jeff (Kris) Prosen, Scott (Melissa) Prosen, Matt (Jessica) Prosen, and Anna (Blake) Ellingson, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Jack, Tyler, Dylan, Colton and a granddaughter to be born soon.

Bill’s love for his family and friends was boundless, and his playful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We join together to celebrate Bill’s well-lived life, full of laughter, love, and service to others. Bill's kindness, faith, and love for life will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
