Warren Bruce Ritala, 79, died unexpectedly at his home in Mizpah, MN on September 8, 2024.

Warren was born on March 11, 1945 in Biwabik, MN. He played for the Biwabik Braces and was the captain of his football team. He attended college at Minneapolis School of Business and was accepted shortly after for Highway Patrol Recruit School to become a Minnesota State Patrol Officer. He also worked in excavation and owned and operated heavy machinery.

He loved hunting, canoeing, snowmobiling, small engine repair, gardening, and having his pets.

Warren is survived by his children, Sheri Ritala of New Prague, MN, and Suzanne Ritala of Conroe, Texas; a brother, Keith Ritala of Washington State; a sister, Shelley Kerber of Shorewood, MN; 3 nieces; a nephew; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ritala and his mother, Violet Ritala.
