Wade Richard Lastine, age 61, of Hanska, Minnesota, passed away at his home on October 18, 2025. He was born on June 9, 1964, to Thomas and Carolyn (Pizel) Lastine.

Wade grew up in southern Minnesota and spent many years living in Oregon before returning to New Ulm, and later to Hanska, where he lived in his childhood home. He was known for his love of playing pool and for valuing his privacy.

He is survived by his father, Thomas Lastine of New Ulm; his children Jessica Ross of Monticello, Shannon (Lucas) Possehl of Albert Lea, and Josh Lastine of New Ulm; his 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Kelly Lastine of New Ulm; nephew Tyler Lastine, niece Katlyn Lastine; aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Wade was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn “Tootie” Lastine; his grandparents Gordan and Adella Lastine and Don and Stella Pizel and other loved ones who went before him.

Please join us for a committal at Lake Hanska Cemetery at 11am with a celebration of life and luncheon to follow at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday November 8th.
