Wade Kosman
June 8, 1972 – October 7, 2022
North Branch, MN, USA
life story
An irreplaceable man and an unmatchable soul.
Wade was born June 8th 1972 in St Paul MN to Raymond Kosman and his loving mother, the late Sharon Kosman. He is the youngest of 7 siblings. On August 17, 2013 he married Michelle Meath who survives him.
He was a character and a half and that’s why we loved him so much. He lived his life loud and passionately, and loved hard. You never had to guess what Wade was thinking because he’d be sure to let you know!! Wade was talented in so many ways, he was an amazing construction worker, woodcrafter, fisherman (his favorite) mechanic, a jack of all trades really, and an incredible cook. Wade loved teaching people and sharing his vast knowledge with them and watching them succeed brought him great joy. He was always planning something; potlucks at The Brick, winters in Texas, gathering with friends, smoking meat for some event, or the next rib contest he’d be competing at. Wade loved his dad and was always looking out for him. His children were his pride and joy and his whole heart. To try and capture Wade’s life and his impact on the people he touched in one small paragraph is impossible. He was one of a kind, the best kind, and this world is a little bit grayer without him.
Wade is survived by his three children that filled his life with love, Cody (Tori) Kosman of Braham, MN; Taylor (Travis) Kosman of Forest Lake, MN; Colton Kosman of East Bethel MN; also stepdaughter Jenny and former wife Shelleen Kosman-mother of his children; his six siblings who absolutely adored him as the baby of the family, Debbie (Ray) Buhil of Ham Lake, MN; Kim Walraff of White Bear Lake, MN; Barry Anderson of CA; Gary (Sharon) Kosman of Forest Lake, MN; Julie (Mike) Marier of USVI; Michele Trott of Los Fresnos TX; and his brother not by blood but by heart Phillip Wright of North Branch, MN; five grandchildren that he was so proud of, Ryan, Charlotte, Connor, Bryce and Clark; his nieces and nephews.
