A loving mother who will dearly be missed.

On Friday March 19, 2021, Virginia May Nelson, loving mother of 3, grandmother of 2 and great grandmother of 4 passed away at the age of 85. Ginnie, was born on 1/15/1936 in Mpls. MN, worked at the Baptist Residence Nursing Home. Ginnie was a caring and charitable person who loved life, family and friends.

Proceeded in death by her father Glen, mother Hazel, brothers Jim, Russell (Butch) and Ralph, sisters Marrianne and Evelyn. She is survived by her three children, son: Terry A  Nelson (Gretchen) , daughter: Becky L Nelson, son: Mark P Nelson (Kim) and grandchildren ,Chad Cole (Autumn), Samantha Martel (Joe),Great grandchildren: Lydia, Aubree, Kylee Martel, and Harper Rose Cole.  Sisters Beverly Ness, and Marilyn Forseth (Steve).

Virginia was kind, loving and a little feisty. She will be dearly missed and forever held in our hearts.

Funeral to be held at Hope Lutheran Church at a later date.
