Trudy A. Dutt, 32, passed away on August 25, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia. Born on April 11, 1993, in South Bend, Indiana, Trudy brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning.

About Trudy

Trudy was a very bright person who lit up any room she entered. Her presence was magnetic—her laugh contagious and her smile unforgettable. She had a remarkable ability to make anyone feel seen and uplifted, and those who knew her each carry cherished memories of time spent with her.

She is survived by her father, her siblings, her beloved Nonie, her little cousins, and so many more loved ones whose lives were touched by her warmth and spirit. On her journey beyond this life, Trudy met her mother Kaarin—whom she loved so dearly—and her aunt Mandy, whom she had missed so very much recently.

A celebration of life and balloon release will be held in Trudy’s honor on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at 529 Euclid Avenue, South Bend, Indiana 46628. Per her wishes, Trudy will be cremated and added to the tombstone with her mom and aunt—a final resting place that reflects the deep bonds of love they shared.
