About Trent

Trent Netland, 39, of Bagley, Minnesota went peacefully with the Lord Our Savior on Monday, December 11, 2023.

Trent was born on January 3, 1984, in Fargo, North Dakota. He grew up in the Bagley area and graduated from Bagley High School in 2002. He attended the Bagley DAC as well as the Fosston DAC. He enjoyed being outside and loved going for walks.

Trent always got a good laugh anytime he was able to tease someone. He loved playing clap your hands and stop your feet, which our dad Wayne would do with him for hours on end. Listening to music and playing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” and “The Muffin Man” were a sure everyday favorite of his.

If you saw Trent, you knew he always had his toy car sitting in his lap, constantly hitting the vroom, vroom or beep, beep button. Trent had several health issues throughout his life, but that never stopped him from being the smiley, fun-loving character he was. He will be tremendously missed by those who had the honor of knowing him.

Trent is survived by his mother-Rhonda Netland of Bagley, MN.

Sister-Shelly (Shawn) Sorensen of Bagley, MN.

Brother-Reuben Netland of Bagley, MN.

Foreign Exchange Brother-Sven Paulson of Sweden

Nephews & Nieces-Parker, Landen, Chelsey, Tauny, Faryn, Rossten, and Fable

Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father-Wayne Netland; special teacher/aunt Susan Higginbotham, and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all the people who helped care for Trent throughout the years.

Pastor Nathan Nordlund will be officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at the Nora Township Cemetery.
