Nelson, Tracy S.

Age 58, born January 11th, 1966. Tracy was a proud Mother, tough and independent woman who loved her family. A survivor of many tragedies with a fighting spirit she was private and reserved. Tracy passed away following an emergency surgery. She perished early in the evening on Friday March 29th at St. John’s Fairview Hospital in Maplewood, MN. Tracy underwent open heart surgery in 2022, but later developed complications that lead to the chronic illnesses to which she succumbed. Proceeded in death by: Parents; Suzanne Carol Aakre, Michael Anthony Nelson; Sister: Linda Colby Strand; Grandchild: Raphaela Charity Nelson. Tracy LOVED her family. She is survived by: legally adopted Mother, Donna Nelson; Children: Joseph Nelson, (Christine), Justin Engelmann, Jacob Kraft-Engelmann, Jorgen Engelmann, Tracy & (Lee) Brandle; Grandchildren: Sophia, Dirk, Miriam, Ilsa, Bernadette, Eulalia, Veradis, Hannah, Chloee, Amelia, Cody; Siblings: Pat & (Traci) Colby, Kim & (Donald) May, Kay Smith, Yonder, Eric Nelson, Michael-John Nelson; Many other beloved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. Tracy was cremated on 4/2/2024 at 12:14pm, she will be interred with her biological Mother, as we believe she would have wanted on April 12, 2024. See details below.
