Tracy Lee Wild, 42, of Bemidji, MN, passed away Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023 due to a tragic accident in Bemidji.

Tracy Lee (Howe) Wild was born on July 25, 1981 to parents Ron and Renee Howe of Erskine MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church. She attended the Win-E-Mac school in Erskine and graduated in 1999 as co-valedictorian, and then attended Bemidji State, and graduated in 2004 with honors, receiving her BS degree in elementary education.

Tracy married Thomas Wild on September 3, 2005. On May 8, 2010 they were blessed with the birth of their son, Evan Wild. She was a very dedicated wife and mother. Tracy was a substitute teacher and taught nearly every day, in Cass Lake, Laporte and Bemidji, where she got to know so many wonderful teachers and staff members, as well as all the students. Recently she was going back to school herself. She currently was in her second year to get her SLPA (Speech, Language, Pathology Assistant) degree.

Tracy had so much love for her family, friends and other people, especially children. Family vacation trips were a highlight for Tracy as a child, and later with her husband and son.

Tracy loved her Lord Jesus and was an example to her family and friends on how to live out one's faith.

She is survived by her husband, Tom, son Evan and their beloved dog Zoey; her parents, Ron and Renee Howe of Erskine; sister and brother-in-law---Erin and Brent Heemstra. Also, her nieces, Kaycee, Allie and nephew AJ--all of Brainerd. Grandmother Bonnie Strand, of Erskine; and also, her mother and father-in-law--Mark and Heather Wild of Fargo ND; and sister-in-law Christina and Chad Johnson; and nephews, Blaine, Brock and niece Amelia--all of East Grand Forks, MN. Tracy is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Stanley Strand, Grandfather, Maynard Howe, Grandmother, Emma Howe, Uncle Jerome Strand, Uncle Joe Espeseth, Aunt Evangeline (Vannie) Espeseth; Aunt Dolores Santelli, and their beloved dog Major.
