Tom Nordahl Christiansen

Born in Norway - Lived in Mpls MN and Mexico

Tom , fondly know as TC passed away quietly in his sleep after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

Son of Ole and Marit Christiansen

Husband to Maria Dolores Gomez Lozano for 25 years.

Brother to Ron, Jon, Pelle

Friend to many.

Tom was also an avid skier starting at a very young age and one time on the way back from a ski trip the person driving fell asleep and when he went to get help he said there was a person in the car down in the ravine with two broken legs and when The rescuers came to get him, they were surprised to see Tom with his legs already in casts from a major Wipeout from skiing at Jackson hole Wyoming.

Tom was passionate about surfing, riding his bike, walks on the beach, travel, play guitar, not so much dancing but he would happily do it for his beloved wife.

Tom was so very generous with his time, skills, knowledge, money, one of his many projects was to install a very efficient inexpensive solar hot water system with just black hose connected to a water source and extended to the sun. Many families benefit from enjoying hot water for showers, dishes, laundry without having to heat up water on a stove top or on a fire pit, making it more convenient, saving money and avoiding overheated water accidents.

Tom took advantage of his travels to bring medical supplies to donate at rural communities or whoever crossed paths that needed something like crutches as was the case at least 3 times right on the street, he would run to them and say wait here I’ll get you a pair of crutches, creating a beautiful moment to remember.

Tom loved his brothers, nieces and nephews, his parents a whole lot of extended family, enjoyed lifelong friendships.

Tom was very kind and lived an adventuresome life and will be missed by many.
