Tina Marie Hayes

December 13, 1972 – May 30, 2022

Fort Worth, TX, USA

life story

Loving Wife, Momma, Gigi, sister, neighbor, and friend, gone too soon.

She lived, loved and was loved more in her short time on Earth than most people experience over 100 years of living.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Tina was a firecracker. Never one to turn down a dare or a challenge. She was hard working, resourceful, creative and crafty to just name a few of her attractive and inspiring qualities. She loved being told something couldn't be done a certain way or maybe not at all... to that she would say, "wanna bet?".

Tina was born December 13th 1972 in Kankakee, IL. She is the daughter of the late Kaylyn Jones (Crescent City, IL) and Dennis Dixon (Florida).

She is a sister to John Paul and Amanda Jones, Jennifer[Kyle] Dincler (Jones), Renee [Julian] Lara.

Wife to Philip Shurter. Momma to Brett Honeycutt, Zachary Hayes [Lena], Daniel Elliott [Amanda]. Gigi to Bradly Honeycutt, Riley Jo and Colton Hayes and Austin and Ryan Elliott.

Tina was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, mother, aunt, gigi, friend, and neighbor. The loss of her is deeply felt by aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, her children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors.

She loved being creative, getting her hands dirty and wasn't afraid of hard work.

Tina would undoubtedly credit her work ethic, discipline and "can do" attitude to her early years as a dancer. She excelled

in tap, jazz and ballet and was invited

to many invitational dance conferences and camps geared toward preprofessional dancers. Dance was her life for over 10 years but a move to a small town a few states away caused some interests to be put on hold. Sometimes life takes turns you don't

expect and for some, those unexpected events could be marked as devastating but Tina was never one to mark anything as hopeless. Maybe Tina's resilientce was due to being raised and influenced by strong women, or maybe it had to due with being supported by loyal, generous and kind friends and family, who have always been precious to her. Whatever it was, it was rare and admirable and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Tina fell asleep peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Monday, May 30th 2022 and woke up, in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by loved ones. We all will love and miss her until the day she greets us as we too walk to the other side. Until then, we find comfort in the truth that in Heaven there is no more pain or tears. Tina is healed and whole and is most definitely dancing.
