Timothy Harold Genung

Timothy Harold Genung, age 78, of Monticello, passed away on February 9, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He had a love for the simple joys in life like playing cards and rolling dice with his brother and close friends, sharing laughter over the games they enjoyed for years.

He also found peace in the outdoors, spending time with family in nature whenever he could.

Preceded in death by his wife Joyce, parents Richard and Helen; brothers Richard and James. Survived by daughter, Danielle; son, Tom (Barbi); grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob, and Owen; siblings, Don (Diane), Sharon Bird, Kathy (Al) Johnson, Sue (Ron) Berg.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20th at 11am with visitation one hour prior at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9300 Jason Ave. NE, Monticello.
