life story

Loving Husband, Devoted Father and Grand Father

This isn’t a photograph of a perfect person. It’s a photograph of someone who made mistakes, had human flaws and sometimes hurt other people. Thomas wasn’t a perfect person, and nobody expected him to be. But he loved his family in the best way he knew how. He loved animals, and making babies laugh and watching cooking shows at 4 in the morning when he couldn’t sleep. He got angry easily, but he also cried every time you had to say goodbye. He was complicated yet simple. He told cheesy jokes to anyone who would listen and complained about the news. He drank his coffee black and ate the same breakfast every day. And even if you had a disagreement the night before, he was always there to make you chocolate chip pancakes in the morning. You never expect it to be someone’s time to say goodbye for the last time, but I guess he had done everything he wanted to accomplish in his life and he was ready to move on to his next adventure. I hope he enjoys the coffee in heaven. Rest in Peace Thomas 💕
