Thomas Lloyd Kuhrke, 73, of Bemidji, MN died Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at his home.

Thomas was born July 19, 1951 in St. Paul, MN, the son of Lloyd and Teanna “Billie” (Gable) Kuhrke. He was raised and educated in the Bemidji area, graduating from Bemidji High School. He married Doreen Kay Geller on July 1, 1995 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bemidji. He worked for Bemidji Dairy, BSU Security, ISD 31 Middle School and Northwest Technical College all in Bemidji. He retired from Northwest Technical College as a Facilities Supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding squirrels, and 4-wheeling.

He is survived by his wife, Doreen Kuhrke of Bemidji, son, Brian (Tania) Kuhrke of Bemidji, daughter, Jacqueline (Kuhrke) Andrews, son, Daren (Colleen) Bentler of Bemidji, grandchildren, Svea (Tyler) Jensen, Shaine Andrews, Deven and Dalton Bentler

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Billie Kuhrke, brother, John Kuhrke, and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Laporte, MN.
