Thom Sweet

Thomas Elliott Sweet, 74, of Crystal, MN, peacefully passed away on April 19, 2022 after a long battle of complications from stroke.

Born in Minnesota to Elliott Sweet & Gwendoline Miller, Thom was a middle child of four boys.

After he graduated from Robbinsdale High School, Thom met his first wife Marvia and went on to have one child after enlisting in the army.

Thom was fiercely passionate about the entertainment industry and dedicated his life to both his pursuit of entrepreneurship and his family. He had a lengthy career booking talent and entertainment at some of the hottest venues through out the twin cities metro area. Thom started up entertainment companies such as ICE Agency & Superior Consulting.

He was also a passionate Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering, gaming & card enthusiast. He went on to open up his own hobby shops in Minneapolis and Burnsville.

Thom spent most of his retirement versing himself with computer technology, organizing events, reunions, going to Twins games, playing cards & board games, while spending time with family & partner Donna Lower.

He was predeceased by his mother Gwen, father Elliott and his brother Dick.

Thom leaves behind his son, Tommy Weller & his wife Michelle; brothers Larry Sweet & wife Susan, Robert Lange & wife Karen; partner Donna Lower; and many nieces and nephews, including Larry Sweet & wife Alice, Donald Sweet, Haley Sweet, Nick Sweet & Zander Sweet.

Thom was cremated on April 21st.
