Theodore Raymond Rust, 90, of Bemidji, MN died Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Ted was born December 3, 1933 in Northome, Minnesota, the son of Ernest and Abby (Johnson) Rust. He was raised and educated in Northome, MN. He enlisted in the US Army from 1956-1958.

He married Jean Hilliard in 1959. They raised 2 children in Anoka, MN before moving to a farm in Gemmell, MN. Later on they moved to Bemidji, MN where he worked at Bemidji Airlines and later at Northland Hardwood. He enjoyed setting up at flea markets, going to flea markets, he absolutely loved hunting and loved going to any stock car race.

He is survived by his daughter Donna Rust, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Daniel, 7 brothers and 6 sisters.

Location: Malvik Lutheran Church Cemetery in Guthrie, MN. A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29th at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.
