Tessa Melander, 53, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away peacefully on May 31st, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was a loving wife and mother whose main focus in life was spending time with family. Tessa was an organizer of countless family outings and vacations, including her favorite kayaking and tubing on the Namekagon River, as well as camping at many Minnesota State parks. She put an enormous amount of thoughtfulness into everything she did for her family. The most important person in her life was her daughter, Alyssa, whom she would go to the ends of the earth for.

Survived by daughter Alyssa, Husband Andy, Mother Sherry Grampre, and brothers Tyler, Trent, and Troy Nelson, along with her in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandparents, Eleanor (GiGi) and Frank Machovsky.

Funeral to be held at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 1:30 pm, with visitation starting at 12:30 pm. Interment to follow the service.
