life story
Tammi K Spear Mother Wife Best Friend
I lost my best friend, the LOVE of my life and my better half. She truly was my better half because she made me become a better man, husband, and father. From our first encounter, I knew this woman was everything I would ever need in a wife. She gave me more than I could ever repay; three beautiful, smart, loving, caring, strong-willed children, and it was all because of her. Along the way came three beautiful grandchildren, all perfect in their own way. It is so apparent to me now, that each grandchild innately molded pieces of Tammi from the way they act, talk with SASS, or their gentle touch.
This past February, Tammi had a horrible spinal cord injury from an infection. We were later told that she may never walk again, but two months later, while shaky, she flipped them off as we walked out 😊. Although she never did recover 100%, she did live long enough to meet and play with our new grandbaby, Ariella. In the comfort of her home, Tammi was surrounded by her family in bed when she peacefully left us. The two most important items Tammi wanted to cross off on her shortened bucket list were to at least meet grandbaby #3 and to come home, and she did just that.
She fought so hard because she loved so hard. Love was her fuel that motivated her to stay longer because she had so much more love to give. If you knew Tammi or briefly met her, I bet you felt a burst of LOVE the night she departed. Perhaps something looked oddly beautiful, a song that moved you, or you just felt at peace; that was Tammi’s love being set free and sent to you.
I’ll hold you forever in my heart.
