Tamera Ann Greschner

St Paul, MN, USA
life story
Tammy passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025 after a long journey of early onset Alzheimer’s. However, she would not want anyone to focus on how she died, but how she lived.
She was a fiercely independent single mom who worked hard, loved harder, and never let life tell her how to live. She marched to the beat of her own drum—barefoot, in jeans, with dirt under her nails, a dog (or two or three) by her side, and classic rock playing in the background.
She raised her daughter, Hannah, with grit, humor, and boundless love. Becoming a grandma (Granny T) to Harrison, Hattie, and Crosby was the greatest encore of all—and she soaked up every moment with them like her favorite song on repeat.
She had a soft spot for rescue dogs, a wild passion for gardening, and a long-standing love affair with cold beer and good music. Whether she was pulling weeds, driving with the windows down, or sitting in her backyard barefoot, you could count on Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, or Tom Petty to be along for the ride.
She didn’t care much for fancy things, but she lived richly—surrounded by laughter, rock and roll, and the kind of strength you don’t teach, you just live.
She’ll be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on—in every blooming flower, every wagging tail, and every full moon.
In her honor, plant something, pet a dog, buy a gargoyle, turn up the music, and raise a glass to a life well lived.
She is preceded in death by her father (Andrew Theodore Greschner) and her love (Dave Melde). She is survived by her mother Audrey Greschner and her daughter Hannah Martin (Jeremy) and grandchildren (Harrison, Hattie, & Crosby). She is also survived by her sisters Pam Norgard (Rich), Sandi Greschner (Steve), and her nieces Hailey and Amanda Greschner, among many other family and friends.
She loved her family and friends fiercely and will be deeply missed by all.
