Suzanne "Sue" Denise Johnson

About Sue

Born on December 30, 1958. Sue passed away November 26, 2021 at just 62 years old, after her battle with lung cancer. She was living in Lindstrom, MN with her son's family where she loved to be more than anywhere else. She passed peacefully with Alex (son) and Angel (daughter-in-law) by her side. After many months of battling through pain, misdiagnoses and struggles she is finally pain free. She was so strong through her battle, trying so hard to not show her loved ones the pain she was in, putting on a smile and pushing herself to be there for her grandkids. Being a Mom and Nana meant everything to her. She adored her grandbabies as she always said. She would say "I know they are your babies, but they are always gonna be my babies too." She was a giver, all who knew her knew that giving to make others happy was something that brought her joy, especially all the littles in her life. She was also a collector of things like movies, she would always have the latest seasons of shows and new movies. She liked to spend as much time as possible with her grandkids and she also loved spending time with her significant other Mike whom she had known for many years.

She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Johnson High School. Worked at Montgomery wards in her early years and then moved on to E.J. AJAX & SONS where she worked many years as well. She worked at Walmart where she was working at the time of her passing for nearly 20 years!

Preceded in death by sister, Dallas; and father, Raymond. Survived by son, Alexander (Angel) Ahlquist; grandkids, Ethan, Addison, Bella, Elijah & Oliver Ahlquist; mother, Dorothy (Robert) Johnson-Holmberg; sisters, Darcy Otto, Wendy (Patrick) Koenig & Brenda Feudner; brother, Randall Johnson; Partner, Mike Mapson and many other loved ones that she loved very much.
