Strong, brilliant, loving Mom, Sister and friend

I'll be loving you always, until the rainbow blows the stars out of the sky, until the ocean covers every mountain high, until the dolphin flies and parrots live at sea, until we dream of life and life becomes a dream, always.

Susan

Susan was born in St. Paul, raised in Sauk Centre and went to college at St. Olaf's in Northfield. She later settles in the Twin Cities where she had and raised her two daughters Greta and McKinley. She worked for many year for the State of Minnesota, spending the last part of her career in the Department of Commerce. Susan always put her family and friends first, with a heart of gold, and truly generous. She was a great lover and supporter of the arts, especially music. She played the clarinet and the piano although not often in public! Intelligent and witty, open minded and liberal. Her friends, co-workers and family will never fill the space she leaves. We love you Susan, Susie, Mom, always.

Celebration of Susan's Life

The family would love to hear about and/or read about everyone’s memories of Susan. If you care to share your memories out loud, we will have time set aside for that starting around 5:00 pm. The family would be touched to get those tributes in written form as well so if you should not wish to share your tributes out loud, we’ll provide paper and pens at the celebration as well so you can write them down and we will have great stories to treasure.
