About Sue

Sue was the oldest of ten children born to James and Audrey Burt. She graduated from the Univeristy of Minnesota with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoyed a 40 year career with Dr. Wolf and Dr. Yorston.

Sue married Tom O'Brien and together they shared 51 years of marriage as they raised four children.

She was actively involved with St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church volunteering and finding joy in serving others.

Sue also had a passion for gardening and eagerly welcomed spring often saying, "Time to play in the dirt!"

Sue is survived by her children, Terry (Rebecca), Shannon Arseneau (Tom, deceased), Danny (Kim), and Kelly O'Brien; nine beloved grandchildren; and three great grandchildren with another precious addition on the way.

Sue will be remembered for her love of laughter, gardening, writing, learning, educating, generosity, and of course creating ice cream cakes.

The family wants to thank Grace Hospice for caring for our mom in her final days.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am; with the funeral service begining at 11:00am.

Lunch will be provided after the service.
