Loving mother, grandmother and friend
Susan Fleming passed away on Sunday, May 3rd, in her home at NorBella Senior Living in Prior Lake, MN. In her final days, she spent time with her son Chris Fleming and daughter-in-law Liesl Fleming. She was visited by her grandson Tom, her granddaughter Sarah, her grandson Samuel, her grandson Noah, and her niece Kathy. She spoke with her brother, Jim, and niece, Julie, on the phone.
Susan graduated from Patrick Henry High School (Minneapolis) in 1960 and began a long career as a Nursing Assistant at Hennepin Medical Center, where she prepared surgical instruments.
Susan was a resident of NorBella Senior Living in Prior Lake, MN. While living there, she made many friends and enjoyed all the activities offered; she especially loved coloring at the table while socializing with her friends.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Jon, and wife Liesl; grandchildren Thomas (Lauren, children Barret, Georgia), Matthew, Sarah, Samuel (Bell), and Noah (Bell); nieces Kathy (Fleming) and Jake Peterson, children Elle and Kysa, and Julie (Fleming) Kelley and Chip, children Mackenzee, Allee, and Joe.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Nell (Dobell) and Thomas Joseph Fleming.
