A great friend, neighbor, and sister

Susie passed peacefully at age 76, after a battle with peritoneal cancer. Preceded in death by husband David, parents Floyd & Shirley Peterson. Survived by step-children, David Jr., Damon & Leslie, brothers Gary and Roger, sisters Janet and Lynn, their spouses, nieces, nephews, and great friends.

Susie demonstrated a huge strength in kindness, and had a knack for connecting quickly with EVERYONE around her, even strangers. People at the store, clinic, or restaurant responded to her warmth, and her genuine interest in them.

Susie was so humble. She had many talents, including her cooking and baking. If you received a box of homemade cookies from her, you'd be hooked!
