Steven Keith Robertson, 76, of Robbinsdale, MN passed away on April 18, 2022 from Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

About Steve

Steve was born on June 25, 1945 to Norma and Floyd Robertson in Minneapolis, MN. After graduating from Robbinsdale High School in 1963, he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed in El Paso, TX. After the Air Force, he went to Northwestern Electronics and then worked for Medtronic.

In 1965, Steve and Helen met, and they got married on October 22, 1966.  In 1973, they moved to Cedar Rapids, IA for an electronics technician job he got at Rockwell Collins.

Steve and Helen had 3 children, Deborah, Rebecca, and Sarah. The girls kept them busy with school and activities.

Steve retired in 2003 after 30 years at Rockwell. While retired, Steve had more time to pursue his interests in woodworking and computers.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother Kenneth, aunts, uncles, a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law, and a cousin. Steve is survived by his wife, Helen, his three children, Deb (Joe) Jacobs, Becky (Bob) Schindler, Sarah (Brian) Clark, grandchildren, Christopher, Thomas, Libby, Christian, Lauren, Rachel, his brother Jim, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral honor ceremony will be held at Fort Snelling on June 2, 2022 starting at 9:00am. Anyone wishing to attend should arrive by 8:45 at Assembly area 3. A luncheon will follow the service at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Bloomington.
