Leaving laughter in his wake
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Eugene Morris, who left this world on December 18, 2025, in South Saint Paul, Minnesota. Born on May 22, 1953, in Watertown, SD, Steve was one of six cherished sons of Marvin and Irene Morris.
Steve was more than just a beloved son; he was a beacon of light to all who knew him. His life was a testament to love, laughter, and an unwavering sense of joy. Though his departure leaves an irreplaceable void, we choose to celebrate a life well-lived, one that left an indelible mark on the hearts of family, friends, and countless others.
Survived by his brothers Bradley and Scott Morris, Steve's legacy of laughter and love continues through his nieces and nephews: Marc, Dustin, David, Kevin, Rebecca, Jennifer, Rorey, and Casey Morris, and Dayla Topp. And his step son Sean.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly Morris, Steve now rests in peace, reunited with her once more.
After graduating from Simley High School, Steve answered the call to serve his country by joining the Navy during the Vietnam War, emerging as a proud War Veteran. His dedication to service and his innate desire to bring light to those around him defined his generous spirit.
Following his military service, Steve pursued a career in chemical engineering, a field where he excelled and found great fulfillment. His passion for billiards, shared by his family, led him to craft exquisite custom pool cues under the name Midwest Custom Cues, leaving a legacy of creativity and craftsmanship admired by many. He leaves his legacy on the Billiard Community.
Steve will be remembered for his infectious smile, his hearty laughter, and his ability to bring joy to every room he entered. His genuine kindness and welcoming nature made everyone feel at home, creating lasting memories and friendships.
We invite all who knew Steve to celebrate his life, to remember the joy he spread, and to carry forward his legacy of love and laughter. Though he is gone, the light he shared with the world will shine on in our hearts forever.
