Stephen Arthur Cobb

Age 80 and from Chanhassen, MN. Steve passed away January 26th, 2022. He was born in Minneapolis, MN on July 19th, 1941 to Richard and Ann (Darby) Cobb. The oldest of three siblings, he graduated from Southwest High School and went on to serve four years in the U.S. Navy. After the Navy, he graduated from Dunwoody Institute with an Associates Degree as an architectural draftsman. He started his own architectural company, Cobb Design. In 1965, Steve married Judy Johnson and they had three children, Eric, Bretta, and Paige. Steve and Judy later divorced. He went on to have many various jobs but his true passion was hot air ballooning. He became a hot air balloon pilot and started his own company, Adventure Balloons. He flew in Arizona, New Mexico, and Minnesota. Steve leaves behind his two siblings, Richard Cobb and Laurie Norton, his three children, Eric Cobb, Bretta Hebing, and Paige Prestholdt, and his seven cherished grandchildren. He will be remembered fondly as a loving father and proud U.S. veteran.
