Stanley Albert Randall, a loving father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, at the age of 79 in his home at Heritage Assisted Living of Edina, MN.
Stan was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1945, in Puposky, Minnesota, to Herman and Florence (Gjerstad) Randall. He grew up on the family farm with his five siblings until moving to St. James. He graduated from St. James High School in 1963.
In 1967, Stan married Sharon Engelking, and together they raised three children. He worked for Oak Grove Dairy for several years before owning the local bowling alley, Randall's Lanes, from 1973 to 1985. Stan later worked at Swift Eckrich.
In 2010, Stan moved to Bloomington to enjoy his retirement. He loved leatherworking, playing cards at the Creekside Community Center, and Bingo at Mystic Lake Casino. A devoted sports fan, he rarely missed a Twins, Vikings, or Timberwolves game. He also cherished spending time with family and friends.
Stan is survived by his daughter, Kari (Tom) Kendall of Bloomington, MN; his son, Troy (Laurie) Randall of Zimmerman, MN; his brother, Kenneth Randall of San Antonio, TX; and his sister, Shirley (Robert) Sandbo of Tenstrike, MN. He also leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Trevor Randall; his parents, Herman and Florence Randall; his brother, Norman Randall; and his sisters, Dorothy and Donna Randall.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Stan’s life at the Eagles Club in St. James on March 29th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A private burial will take place in Eagle Bend, MN, at a later date.
