Sidney Vaughn Frankson, “Bloomington Sid” passed away peacefully Saturday October 30, 2021 at Presbyterian Home surrounded by his books and family photos. Sid was born on August 19, 1961 in Kennewick WA. He was mostly raised in Ohio and Northern California. Sid is the youngest of nine children born to Vernon & Lela (Travis) Frankson.

Sid is preceded in death by his father, Vernon L. Frankson; mother, Lela M. Frankson; brothers, Craig Frankson, Terry Frankson and Mark Frankson. Survived by his siblings; Gerald (Sandy) Frankson, Lynn Frankson, Ron (Patty) Frankson, Deanna (Bob) Loder, Lexie (Michael) Smith, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Sid relocated to Bloomington in the late 90’s. He enjoyed the solitude of riding his bike, reading his books and a good cup of coffee.

The family wishes to thank the City of Bloomington, Creekside Community Center, Presbyterian Home, Moments Hospice, Loaves & Fishes and the residents of Bloomington who were so gracious in the befriending of Sid.
