Shirley Ann Graham (Johnson)​

Shirley was born in Morris, MN. She married Larry Graham in 1957. They moved to Twin Cities, settling in Anoka, where they lived for almost 60 yrs. In 2020 they move to the Walker Methodist Plaza in Anoka where she cared for Larry until he passed in 2021.

Shirley was a career accountant. She started as a bookkeeper for a small machine shop, she then became an accountant for Sannerud & Assoc. and finally, the Business Manager for Jack Pixley Chimney Sweeps. Shirley also ran her own tax / accounting business out of her home. She was a long-time active member of the Anoka Lioness and many nonprofit organizations. In her spare time, she was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed all needle work.

She is preceded in death by both parents, all siblings (4 sisters, 1 brother), and her husband Larry. She is survived by her children: Barbara Nystrom (Doug), Karen Graham (Angie Hollis), and Michael Graham (Jim Stolz). Grandchildren: Laura Summers (Colin), and Nicole Nystrom – Bly (Eric Bly). and Great grandchildren: Jack, Graham, and Hazel. She is also survived by many other family and friends.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Walker, Health Partners Hospice and her many friends for all their love and support.

Services will be held on Nov. 2, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church 1601 Forth Ave, Anoka Mn 55303 Service begins at 11am. The visitation will be one hour prior.
