Sherry Ann Carter, 63, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, July 24, 2023 at Gold Pine Home in Bemidji.

Sherry was born July 2, 1960 in Drayton, ND, the daughter of Eugene and Ida (Clark) Billings. When she was five, she and her family moved to Pinewood, MN. She would go on to spend the rest of her life in the Bemidji area. She graduated from Bemidji High School in 1978 and East Grand Forks Tech in 1998.

She worked various jobs through out the years until becoming disabled with health issues. She married Bradley Carter October 22, 2004. Her hobbies include horses, card games, gambling, crosswords, going out to eat, watching her westerns, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends, and family.

She is survived by her 3 children, Terri (Chris) Ward of Solway, Brent (Jamie) Ward of Starbuck, MN, and Brenda (Josh) Hertel of Park Rapids, MN, 4 step children, Tricia Carter, Mandy (Kevin) O’Donnell, Cassandra Lykins, and Bradley (Susie) Carter, 6 grandchildren, James Ward of Starbuck, Kody Ward of Starbuck, Kameron Billings of Puposky, Kalvin Billings of Puposky, Amya Wilson of Park Rapids, and Trinity Wilson of Park Rapids, 6 step grandchildren, brother, Patrick (Brenda) Billings of Bemidji, one nephew, Robert (Jaime), one niece, Breanna (Reece), one great niece, and one great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bradley E. Carter, and numerous uncles and aunts.

The event will be from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Interment will take place at the Island Lake Cemetery in Alaska Township.
