life story
Loving Memory our Beloved Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and True Friend
Sherman was deeply loved by his family. He shared a special bond with his sisters, brothers, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many cherished friends who became family in their own right. His loyalty, wisdom, humor, and genuine kindness made him a trusted friend and confidant. He had a remarkable gift for listening, encouraging, and being present for others during life’s most difficult moments.
Those who knew Sherman best remember his vibrant spirit and love for life. He found joy in skating, dancing, and music — especially songs that moved the heart and brought people together. Whether he was gliding across the skating rink, sharing laughter, or offering a supportive word, Sherman left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
Sherman’s legacy is one of love, service, and friendship. His impact lives on through the countless lives he touched, the guidance he offered, and the compassion he shared so freely
Dedication to serving others
Sherman was a compassionate, dedicated, and caring individual who spent much of his life serving others. He proudly worked in the medical field as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) and housekeeper, providing essential care and support to patients and healthcare teams. His passion for helping others extended beyond traditional medicine — he earned certifications in addiction counseling, choosing to focus on the medical addiction field so he could uplift, guide, and bring hope to those in need of healing.
