life story
Heaven gained another angel.
Sherie Lee Miller, 74, of Champlin, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026. She was born on November 22, 1951, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, to Martin and Jeanette Yunk.
Sherie brought love, laughter, and warmth wherever she went. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend who had a remarkable way of making the people around her feel cared for. Incredibly sharp and quick-witted, she was always ready with a clever comment or a good laugh. She was the kind of person who checked in on everyone and often put the needs and happiness of others before her own.
Sherie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved being outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing, and traveling with her husband, James, to different states to visit family and take in beautiful, scenic places. She also enjoyed watching home improvement shows, cooking, and baking, especially when she could share something she had made with the people she loved.
Sherie is survived by her husband, James Miller; her son, Eric, and his wife, Tessa; her daughter, Jennifer and her significant other, Ed Misamore; and her three wonderful grandchildren, Austin, Shelby and Jeston. She will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family and many friends whose lives she touched.
Sherie will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her quick wit, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
In accordance with Sherie's wishes, a Celebration of Life open house will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. There will be no formal service. Family and friends are welcome to stop by at any time during the open house to share stories, memories, laughter, and the wonderful moments we shared with Sherie.
