Loving Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend

Shelley Ann Olson, 67 of Cottage Grove MN passed away on June 14th 2023 surrounded by loving family and friends following a short but brave battle with cancer.

Survived by Mother Violette Olson Weeber, Sisters Jerrilyn Vikre, Jennifer Olson, Jill Olson-Mainville, Jamie Parker. Brothers Harold Olson, Dan Olson. Brother and sister in law Todd and Shellee Thoemke. God daughter Alexis Thoemke. Nieces and Nephews Drake(Madilyn) Thoemke, James Olson, Andrea Bray, Danielle Aeschlimann, Hank Olson, Kimberly Olson, Andy and Chelsea Vikre, Calista and Daulton Longinow, Dylan Throbjornson, Courtney Mainville(Eric Meysembourg), Dakotah Mainville, Charlotte Mainville, Ben Johnson, Dominic and Jovie Parker And many Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Friends.

Preceded in death by Father Gerald Olson, Brothers Peter Olson and Ken Olson.

Shelley was a graduate of Harding High School class of 1974 . After High school Shelley started her career with Minnesota Department of Public Safety and retired from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in 2015.

Shelley was someone who had a zest for life, loved spending time with family and friends and was always the life of the party. She will remain in the hearts of anyone who had the priviledge of knowing her. And will be the shining star when we look to the sky.

Please join us in celebrating the beautiful life of Shelley Monday June 26th at Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church 6875 Jamaica Ave S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016. Visitation 10AM to 11 AM. 11AM Funeral. Luncheon to follow.
