Sharon Thorstenson, Age 80 of Blaine, formerly of Columbia Heights, MN.

Born 3/27/1941 in St. James, MN. Passed away on 3/13/22. Survived by husband, Paul; son, Steve (Robin), daughters, Sharlene (Tim), and Melissa (Steve); grandchildren, Nicole (Cody), Chaz, Jacob, Maxwell, and Sarah; great grandchildren, Caleb, Raylon, and Emmett; sister, Roberta and brother Richard; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Sharon was a loyal employee of the Rainbow grocery store deli for 27 years. She spent over 10 years teaching Sunday School to 1st through 3rd graders at First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights.

Sharon was very creative: she loved to garden, paint and do craft projects, and bake with her grandchildren. She was a wiz at cards and could be seen at the table with her half glass of Miller Lite and one ice cube! She dabbled in pull tabs and the casino and why not? She ALWAYS won!

She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Celebration of Life, Sunday, March 27th, Details below.
