Sharon Lee Smith, 86, of Puposky, MN died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at her home.

Sharon was born September 4, 1937 in Bemidji. She was the daughter of Ivan “Happy” and Cora (Stout) Andree. She was raised in Alaska Township, of Beltrami County near Island Lake. She married Danny Smith on April 13, 1957 at Pleasant Valley Church. They lived in Puposky.

She is survived by her Son: Terry (JoAnne) Smith of Puposky. Grandchildren; Brian (Rena) Smith, Bradley Smith, Andrea (George) Patten and four great grandchildren.

She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and all of their families.

Sharon was preceded in death by Danny, her husband of 45 years, her parents and brothers; Howard, Earl, Jack, Rod, Bob, David and sisters Rose Marie and Jeanne.

While Sharon‘s health permitted, she was very active in the community and her church. She was very proud of her work at the Beltrami County Assessor's Office. She loved quilting, going to the Bemidji Playhouse, spending time with friends and family, but most of all, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pastor Mike Naylor will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Island Lake/Alaska Township Cemetery in Puposky. A lunch will be held at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Puposky afterwards.
