A light upon many, Shari Naqueeta McLean, known to most as "Nikki" was a wonderful wife, step-mom, daughter, sister , aunt and friend! She was taken too soon, and if you knew her, you were just thankful to have the time you did with her.

Nikki loved and loved to be loved

Nikki was born in Clayton, NC and lived there for a bit before moving to Raleigh area, where she stayed for the remainder of her life. She was the oldest of three children. She was survived by many, beginning with her wife, Christen McLean, mother Gwenevere McLean, father Terry "Ike" McLean, brothers James "Jay" McLean and Sean McLean, sister-in-law Kayleigh McLean,niece Karter, and nephews Jaxon and Jagger and lots of other family members and friends. Her best friend of 20+ years, Sayuri "Sy"Raley was also considered family to Nikki. Nothing was more important to Nikki than her family. She spent alot of time with her family and adored each of them so very much. Nikki fought stage 4 cancer for the last 4 years of her life. Although many may not have known it, because her huge smile is all you would usually see. Nikki enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and was so proud when they finally won the championship in 2021. She also enjoyed meeting with friends and enjoying the latest restaurants. Please take a moment to say what you love and remember about our beloved Nikki ❤️
