Loving Brother, Uncle, Nephew and Friend

Shamus died Friday, October 25th from a short but fierce battle of Cancer. Shamus was born September 25, 1972 to James William McCardle from Jersey City, NJ and Carol Marie Lee of Cedar Knolls, NJ. He is survived by Sister Shelby Balinski, Brother-in-law and best friend John Balinski, Sister Wendy Rose Zook, brother-in-law Scott Zook, nieces, Kimberly, Angelina and Addie, nephews Dominick and Zack. With dozens of Aunts, Uncles and cousins who all meant the world to him. He had the biggest heart and loved his family and friends so much and was always there for all of them, without question.

He was an operator for GMP contractors since 2013. He loved working for them and formed many friendships. The people at GMP were so supportive and caring throughout his cancer battle.

Shamus was a selfless soul who cared more about everyone else than he did about himself.

Shamus will be missed greatly by all.

There will be a celebration of his life in the upcoming summer, date to be announced.
