life story

A life cut too short by Early Onset Alzheimer's

About Sean

Sean Frost, 59, passed away on July 29th in Woodbury due to complications of Early Onset Alzheimer’s. He was officially diagnosed in 2018 but was showing signs of the disease much earlier. Sean grew up in Roseville, MN, where he skateboarded, played hockey, and had many adventures with his group of buddies while growing up in Roseville. The family moved to Forest Lake in 1979 and during his high school years is where his love of music grew. He played guitar, bass, and drums in multiple bands throughout his adult years. He was a true performer that commanded the spotlight like his father, Jack. Sean worked for Reell precision manufacturing for many years and finally settled at Heraeus where he was Operations manager until 2017. Sean was a character, had a brilliant mind, loved attention, a collector of everything, an avid hunter, a goof ball, man of a many faces and silly dances and had tons of hobbies he indulged in. He loved all animals, big and small and especially loved his horse, Butte.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Lisa, his 3 children, Kalli (Luke) Jenson, Riley, and Jesse, his grandson Landon, Brother Jack, Sister Missy (Joe) Gotchnik. He left behind numerous friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Nancy, and Brother Scott.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Prelude Homes in Woodbury for all the compassionate care given to Sean while he lived there.
