Scott David Zieman, age 54 of North St. Paul received his wings on February 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ona and Mel Fontaine; and Margaret and Herman Zieman. Father, Maximillian Zieman; Stepfather, Jay Alvin Jaus.
Survived by his mother Lana Albrecht and step father, Craig Albrecht; Brother, Michael A. Zieman (Tiffany); Daughters Jennifer Averbeck (Justin) and Brandi Rose. Grandsons Liam, Charlie and Theodore. Nephew, Brandon Zieman; niece, Alexandra Zieman (Jessie Araujo); great niece, Andrea and great nephew, Maximillian. Also many other family and friends.
Growing up he was a curious, smart and happy child. Loving the outdoors, fishing, playing sports and just being with family and friends. He delivered papers and did small odd jobs to make a buck here and there. Always busy and wanting to help others.
Scott's great passion in life was cooking and traveling. He traveled all over sharing his culinary skills. Rhode Island, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Colorado, Montana, Washington and even the island of Vieques to name a few. He loved all sports, especially the Minnesota teams. He liked to bet on them at times. Scott had a big heart and it showed when he lived with his grandma Ona and took care of her for over a year so she could stay in her home. If anyone ever needed help, he was always there to lend a hand.
At the time of his passing, Scott lived with his Aunt Diane and cared deeply for her. Taking her to her doctor appointments, running errands for her and a trip to the casino every now and then. He was also going to school online at the Colorado Technical University studying for a Bachelor of Science Information Technology, while maintaining a 4.0 average and on the Deans list. Scott had a crazy sense of humor and could make you laugh when you needed a pick me up. He was a talented artist, could play most any instrument with strings, violin being his favorite and the keyboard. Scott will be missed and loved by many. He never knew how much he was loved.
A celebration/memorial of his life will be held at a later date.
