Sarah Ann Fink
07/02/1991 - 01/19/2025
Sarah Ann Fink, 33, passed peacefully in her home on 01/19/2025.
Sarah was born in Fridley, MN in 1991 to Jessica Lee Burns (Fink). She spent her early years as an active outgoing child. Always out enjoying the world. Riding her bike, spending time with friends, and always keeping Jessica on her toes. As the years went on Sarah began finding herself in many different ways. Taking a strong interest in many activities she flourished in during high school. Sarah was an avid woodwinds player, specifically finding love in the oboe. Getting herself into sports and thriving in rugby through her high school career.
As Sarah got older she took a strong interest in helping others. She started volunteering at youth shelters in Minneapolis. Sarah would have given anything to help those in need. No matter how big or small the need was, she was determined to find a way to help, love, and support.
Sarah was always so adventurous and was never afraid to try new things. She would find herself taking in animals who needed homes just for the heck of it. Packing up and heading to Colorado to take on a new life just for the heck of it. At one point in life, she obtained her CDL license and took on over the road truck driving. Exploring the world with her two best friends Ollie (her dog) and Peanut (her cat).
In the last few years of who Sarah really was she flourished. Her soul found where it belonged. She was at peace with herself. She began boxing for fun, but quickly it became a huge part of her. She found her focus, drive, and energy being put into a group that loved and supported her every step of the way. She spent her happiest days with close friends who will forever be remembered. Most of all she spent her last few years focused on family. Taking such great pride in loving her niece and nephew. Always wanting to spend time, finding fun things for her to do with her mother. She was always up for a good time. She will be so greatly missed by many.
Sarah was preceded in death by grandmother Melodie Fulton, and is survived by Mother Jessica Burns, sister Gabrielle (Matthew) Johanson.
A celebration of life will be held at Princeton Civic Center, February 15th, 2025 from 12 pm to 6 pm. All are welcome to attend.
