Sara Anne Forsberg - A Bright & Loving Soul

Sara Anne Forsberg, 48, of Rosemount, Minnesota passed away on November 8, 2024. Born in Edina, Minnesota, on August 9, 1976. Sara was a bright and loving soul whose presence brought joy to those around her. She was an inquisitive child who loved animals and was wicked smart. As a high school soccer athlete, Sara was known for her determination, teamwork and competitive spirit. She was a free spirit with a deep love of nature, finding peace and beauty in the world around her.

Sara was most proud of her role as a mom. She loved her children endlessly and would light up and talk about each of them with pride. Embracing the chaos of a large family, her children enjoyed hiding Sara’s phone when they were young (worked every time) and the traditions of the holidays. Sara was a true mama bear, and her legacy will live on with her children.

Six years ago, Sara met the love of her life, Rob Mueller. It was with him that she felt the safest and unconditionally loved. Rob gave Sara hope for a brighter future. Her life was beautiful but also challenging, and in this relationship, she found her safe place to fall. Not only was Rob there for her, but also for her children. He has been a steady role model to them and will continue to create a place where they will always feel loved, accepted and at home. Together, they created a family and their adventures were many. She loved being up at the cabin in Canada with her family, where she found peace in the quiet moments by the water. The lake was a place of solace for her, where she could read, recharge and reconnect with what mattered the most.

Sara is survived by her wonderful parents, Steve and Kathy Forsberg and her brother, John Forsberg; her amazing children, Lena, Marina, Isabelle, Natalie, Hunter, Forrest and Brooke; also, the love of her life and partner, Rob Mueller and his children, Jake and Max. Sara is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved so much. She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

Sara has many friends who love and miss her dearly. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and the light she brought to every room. Her kindness and loyalty left an indelible mark on all who loved her. Rob, her parents, loving extended family, and many friends will continue to watch over and love her children, and talk about the memories they created together. When you look up and see a sky full of stars, the spring flowers peeking through the snow, or the fall leaves burning bright, know that is our wonderful Sara ── reminders that she is always with us. Thank you, God, for catching her. We look forward to the day we will hold her in our arms again.
