Sally Ann Hansey, 82, of Bemidji, MN died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at her home.

Sally was born November 7, 1941 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of John “Scotty” and Thora (Tollefson) Woodward. She grew up and attended school in Bemidji where she graduated from high school in 1959.

She married Milton Hansey January 14, 1961 in Bemidji, MN. They moved to Minneapolis to work, moving to Bemidji two years later. She worked for 7 years for the Bemidji clinic and worked for the Bemidji School District in the health department from 1978-1997 when she retired.

She was an avid golfer and enjoyed all outdoor activities. She was very active in Aglow and with her local church. She had a love for life and the Lord. She loved spending time with her family.

Sally is survived by her children, Sherri (Tim) Erickson of Big Lake, MN, Shelley (Gary) Sand of Bemidji, and Scott Hansey of Fargo, ND, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, sister, Iris (Richard) Engle, and brother Dan (Christine) Woodward.

Pastor Terry Bernstrom will be officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery in Bemidji, MN.
