Russell Lloyd Clark, 73, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at his home in Wirt, MN.

Russell was born on September 20, 1950 to Russell and Clarice (Maggard) Clark in Holden, West Virginia. He attended school in Logan, West Virginia, graduating in 1968. He enlisted in the US Army in 1978 and served in Germany. He was honorably discharged in August of 1984. He then attended Marshall University in West Virginia during the 1990s where he received his Master’s Degree in 1994.

Over the years Russell worked as a coal miner, a blaster, an EOD, and a heavy equipment operator. In July of 2014, Russell married Jean Page in Bigfork, MN.

In his spare time he enjoyed shooting, computers, and watching TV.

Russell is survived by his wife Jean of Wirt, MN; his 2 sons, Gerald and Christopher Clark of Bigfork, MN; 4 granddaughters, Katelynn Clark of Dayton, OH, Isabelle Salinas, Maggie Clark, and Erin Salinas of Bigfork, MN; sisters, Lana Collins Hanless of Danville, WV and Annie Marcum of Sieverville, TN; brothers, Fred Clark of Logan, WV, Paul Clark of Charlotte, NC; and Ronnie Clark of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and lots of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarice and Russell Clark, and a brother, Steven Clark.
