Roxanne Radmer Anderson

Roxanne Radmer Anderson, 64, of Apple Valley, gained her angel wings on November 12, 2021 after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer.

Roxanne’s life was cut short, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her kindness would understand the significant imprint she left on our hearts. Roxanne was the most thoughtful, friendly, funny person who everyone wanted to be around. She was generous, selfless, and would do anything for her family. We were so blessed to have her in our lives and know it will never be the same without her.

Roxanne was born on March 12, 1957 to Joanne Radmer in St. Paul. She grew up on the east side of St. Paul and graduated from St. Croix Luthern in 1975. In 1980, Roxanne met Dean Anderson and it was love at first sight. They got married in 1983. Roxanne and Dean went on to have 2 children, Kathryn (Katie), and Kellie.

Roxanne’s husband, children, and grandchildren were her life. In the past few years Roxanne spent her time being the world’s best grandma to Brennan and Blake Ficcadenti and Hayes Hanlon. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin and traveling with her husband, Dean.

Roxanne was preceded in death by her mother Joanne Radmer and brother, Randy Radmer and many other beloved family members. She is survived by husband Dean Anderson, daughters Katie Ficcadenti and Kellie Anderson-Hanlon, son-in-laws Dan Ficcadenti and Tommy Hanlon, and three grandsons Brennan (8), Blake (6), and Hayes (almost 2), and many dear relatives and friends.

Service will be held at Woodbury Lutheran Church on Friday, November 19th. Service will be at 1:00 pm, visitation will be held one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family would love to have donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Network (at pancan.org).
