Rosemary Helene Wint, 84, of Northome, MN died on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Rosemary was born on April 12, 1939 in Montpelier, North Dakota, the daughter of Emil and Goldie (Hora) Beyer. She grew up on a farm and attended school in the area, graduating from high school in Montpelier, ND. She began working as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone in Jamestown, ND and met Marvin Christenson. They were united in marriage in 1959 in North Dakota and lived several places traveling for work.

They moved to Moorhead, MN in 1965 and together they raised 3 sons. They later divorced after 27 years. She was a homemaker and worked making wedding dresses and cakes at home. She loved entering many things in the Red River Valley Fair in Fargo where she won many blue ribbons. She worked baking at the kitchen in St. Luke’s Hospital in Fargo for more than a decade and became head of the kitchen.

She married Art Dally in Montpelier, ND in 1988 and farmed with him until his death. She worked as a baker for Fairwinds Senior Home in Idaho for many years.

She met Harold Wint in Post Falls, Idaho and they were married and lived in Idaho until his death. She then moved to Northome, MN where she lived with her son. Rosemary always enjoyed baking, as a career and hobby. She was an active member of the Senior Center in Northome. She enjoyed quilting, playing cribbage and attending craft shows. She loved watching all wildlife and enjoyed feeding the deer. She loved her pets, especially her cats.

Rosemary is survived by her 3 sons, Wayne (Shelly) Christenson of Moorhead, MN, & Gary and Keith Christenson of Northome, MN; 4 grandchildren, Matt, Jessica, Jacob and Dylan; 5 great grandchildren, Ayden, Landen, Paxten, Sophia and Gunnar; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Art Dally and Harold Wint; her parents, Emil and Goldie Beyer; 2 brothers, Merlin and Dean Beyer; and grandson, Hunter James Christenson.

Hope Lutheran Church 12234 3rd St, Northome, MN 56661, USA

Pastor Luke Berntson will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A luncheon will be held at the church following the service. Interment will be in Montpelier Township Cemetery in Montpelier, ND at a later date.
