Rose Marie Foster, 75, of Blackduck, MN, died on Friday, December 11, 2021 at Sanford Medical Hospital in Bemidji, MN.

Rose was born on October 23, 1946 in Bemidji, MN to Earl and Fern (Harriman) Cosselman. She attended school in Kelliher, MN. She worked as a nurse’s aide in the Kelliher Nursing Home and the Baudette Nursing Home. She also lived in Harris, MN and Waskish, MN for many years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, knitting, crocheting, and playing cards.

Rose is survived by 3 sons, Tye (Jacqueline) Lutgen of Harris, MN, Rex Lutgen of Blackduck, MN, and Wes (Janell) Lutgen of Oakland, MS; 3 granddaughters, Rachel (Sam) Wood of North Branch, MN, Laura Lutgen of Oakland, MS, and Rebecca Lutgen of Harris, MN; 2 grandsons, Thomas Lutgen of Harris, MN and Paul Lutgen of Oakland, MN; 2 great granddaughters, Adelynn and Lilith Lutgen of Oakland, MN; 2 sisters, Rita Dingman of Kelliher, MN and June (Ralph) Meidinger of Hutchingson, MN; and friend Rod Boelz of Kelliher, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Fern Cosselman; her husband, Jim Foster; a brother, Lyle Cosselman; and a sister, Iris Wernberg.
