About Ron
Ronald James “Ron” Langin was born on January 23, 1942, in Marshall, MN, to James and Lyla (Bamford) Langin. He grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School. On May 5, 1963, he was united in marriage to Nadine Schlenker.
Ron worked for Appleton Silo Company for a time before beginning his career as a semi driver. He drove for Johnson Leasing, Koch Enterprises and Kane Transport until retirement in 2020 due to health issues.
Ron was an avid gun enthusiast and enjoyed spending time at local gun shows. He was also an outdoorsman and especially enjoyed deer hunting up north with his son. Ron also enjoyed his 1951 Mercury.
Ron died on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Langin of Marshall, son Mike (and Heidi) Langin of Marshall, son-in-law Brad Facile of Lake Shetek, grandchildren Darrick Allpress, McKayla Allpress, Bailey Langin, Emily (and Cody) Kontz and Matthew Facile; great-grandson Elliot Hanson (and one great-grandson on the way) sister Suzanne Schreiner of Crossville, TN, in-laws Jerry Schlenker of Balaton, Dan Schlenker of Lakewood, CO, Bonnie (and Steve) Remmele of Tomah, WI, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law and daughter Leah Facile.

A celebration for the life will take place from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with sharing of memories at 4:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
